Samantha with Dandy
It’s been another busy, exciting week meeting lots of new people and catching up with all my human Chums. The idea is that I’m there to help the patients get better, but people forget the staff need looking after too. I do feel I’m a real help to them and I really enjoy seeing their happy, smiling faces, not forgetting the great big hugs they give me too. It’s the leashed I can do.
I met this lovely Lassie, Samantha, who let me watch TV with her and she even gave me a treat too! I’m so glad she gave permission to take photos, because I look really good in this one. She was missing her own four-legged friend but I brought a smile to her face when she saw me at her bedside. I even got a surprise myself. At the end of the day, just as I was leaving the hospital, her husband came up to me as he guessed I was Dandy, who she had been telling him all about! How lovely, he made me feel a really special pooch!
