Clifton Hospital held it’s annual Christmas Fair last Saturday and it was a cracker!

There were cake stalls, tombolas, craft stalls and even Santa and his elves. Overall, the event raised £1,800 which will go toward aiding patient care and experience across the whole hospital.

Clinical Matron, Courtney Bikerdike, said: “It was a fabulous, fun day.

“Everyone who ran the day went above and beyond – staff, volunteers and the League of Friends.

“It was great to see the community join in and support the event. Huge thanks to everyone who came along and to all the generous businesses and individuals who kindly donated prizes.”

Santa had many visitors to his Grotto who were assisted by Elf Andy and Elf Sandra

Sister Val Gulwell mans the cake stall with some delicious homemade delights

Lylia and mum Sam ran their own craft stall sometimes with the help of Elf Sandra and Elf Andy
