Clifton Hospital launches new ‘Carer’s Cafe’ this month

Clifton Hospital is launching a regular get together for carers to meet up for entertainment, therapy and advice.

Running every last Tuesday of the month, the first gathering will be held on September 27th from 2-4 pm.

The aim of the regular event is to give carers looking after a loved one living with dementia, access to professional help and advice and also to have the opportunity to to meet others in the same situation.

There will also be a variety of  visitors each month – the Alzheimer’s Society will be attending the first event. Carers’ loved ones are welcome to come along too.

Carer’s Cafe will be open to anyone who would  benefit from attending. Therefore you don’t need to have a loved one currently staying in the hospital to join in.

You will find the group in Clifton’s canteen. Tea and biscuits will also be available.
