Clifton Hospital has been having fun for Nutrition and Hydration Week.

Ward 1 held an afternoon tea for the patients with special guests, the Mayor and Mayoress of Fylde, Coun Peter Collins and Mrs Caroline Collins, while volunteer Barry Evans, played the piano.

Ward 1 is also hosting a ‘chair Zumba’ event for patients on Thursday, March 14 at 2pm.
Ward 2 is holding a spring fair this week (Thursday, March 14 at 2pm) and has created a display made by staff, students and patients.
Ward 3 has created a hydration station and is creating a nutrition display.

Ward 4 has also created some displays both on the ward entrance and in the day room.

Nutrition and Hydration Week is an annual event with a shared objective to highlight, promote and celebrate improvements in the provision of nutrition and hydration locally, nationally and globally.
