CLIFTON Hospital, part of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, has had a ‘cracking’ time celebrating Easter.
In a variety of events the rehabilitation wards gave patients the chance to enjoy a little something eggs-stra.
The Trust’s Chaplaincy department hosted a Celebration of Easter service for patients, guests and staff.
Each of the four wards decorated their day rooms with Easter bunnies, chicks and trees decorated with coloured eggs.
Tea parties, cake and biscuit decorating, raffles and pet therapy were also on offer.
The current Miss Fylde coast, Coral Hopkinson, came and donated Easter eggs for the patients too.
Clinical Matron, Courtney Bickerdike, said: “It was lovely to see Clifton working together as a team to enhance the patient experience.”
