Health Visitors

The health visiting service works with children and their families to promote health and wellbeing from the antenatal period up until 5 years of age.

Health visitors can provide advice and support on a range of health matters including:


 

 

 

 

Where are we?

Health visitors are based
within the community working
and work closely with
Children’s Centres and Early
Year’s partners. They can
see you either in health
centre premises or in your
own home.


 

 

Getting Help

The Health Visitors are informed
about expectant mothers through
midwives, this means every family
should have contact with a Health
visitor by the time the child is 2
weeks old.
