A cake sale and raffle in aid of a 10-year-old boy called Charlie who has a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer (DIPG), will be held in the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) reception area at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, from 11am to 1.30pm.
Funds raised will be used for research into DIPG. A Superhero Midnight Walk will take place on December 15 at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Healthcare assistant Christine has organised the walk and everyone is welcome – not just members of staff. Please dress in superhero fancy dress. All welcome.
