Little Verity kick started her fundraising journey on her first Birthday! Her family had the fantastic idea of, instead of traditional gifts, they asked friends and family to donate to Blue Skies in her honour! When Verity was born, 8 weeks early, her and her family received amazing care from the Neonatal Unit at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. The family wanted to say thanks to the staff and the ward and celebrate at the same time!

Verity was born 8 weeks early and received the most amazing care at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, with special thanks to our amazing consultant Karl and Sonographer, Jenny, who monitored baby V so carefully throughout, we are forever grateful.”
