Fundraising Agreement – Terms and Conditions

  • You are over the age of 18 (below 18 contact bfwh.blueskies@nhs.uk for support).
  • You agree to organise fundraising activities as an independent supporter of Blue Skies Hospitals Fund. You should therefore refer to raising money “in aid of” Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, rather on the charity’s behalf.
  • You will not do anything that threatens Blue Skies Hospitals Fund’s reputation or name. If you do, Blue Skies Hospitals Fund has the right to ask you to stop your fundraising activity immediately.
  • You will use the logo in line with the Brand Guidelines and will show Blue Skies Hospitals Fund any marketing materials that you produce and all materials you produce will include the text Registered Charity Number 1051570.
  • You will not carry out house to house collections.
  • You will not shake a collection tin or bucket, as this is prohibited by law.
  • You will comply with any applicable laws and regulations relating to your fundraising activity, including obtaining any necessary licenses, consents or permissions e.g. if you are holding a raffle or lottery, are proposing to sell alcohol or collecting on private property (such as pubs etc.).
  • You will bring in monies for it to be counted at the Blue Skies Hospitals Fund office at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, as soon as possible after the event.
  • You acknowledge that Blue Skies Hospitals Fund cannot take responsibility for any losses made through my fundraising activity and you will ensure that any necessary insurances and risk assessments are in place to support the safety of participants.
  • Any laws that relate to my fundraising activity such as data protection laws/health and safety laws will be abided by.
  • You will not align your fundraising to any political party or candidate. You understand that Blue Skies Hospitals Fund may terminate your right to raise funds at any time.
