There will be some road closures at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on March 13 and 14, 2021.
As part of the on-going demolition works around Parkwood, there will be a partially road closure of a section of the ring road. It is proposed that one lane will be kept open to allow traffic to turn onto the site from the traffic lights and all traffic can enter via Woodlands Avenue (Parkwood) or via Whinney Heys Road. All traffic must exit via Whinpark Avenue.
Every evening the temporary hoardings will be moved back so that the footpath and road are fully operational.
In addition, there will be remedial repair works being undertaken to the main bus layby, adjacent to the multi-storey car park at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, commencing March 15. The works are expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. During this time a temporary bus stop will be located on the opposite side of the road.
