Celebrating Success Awards 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the fact that all our staff worked to tirelessly and relentlessly, we felt that it would not have been appropriate to hold an awards ceremony in 2020. We would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL staff across ALL our services for the service they have given to the Trust during the most unprecedented of years. We are reviewing the Celebrating Success Awards and will hold a celebratory event in 2021 (restrictions permitting!) that allows us to express our sincere gratitude to all those who we owe so much to.
Celebrating Success 2019.
And the winner is....
Every year, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals hold Celebrating Success Awards to reward and recognise the excellent care and treatment received by patients at the hospitals, clinics and health centres run by this Trust.
If your nominee is successful in making the final shortlist, they will be invited to the awards ceremony in November, where the winner will receive £500 to be reinvested into their area of the Trust.
The Weightmans' Patients' Award is much loved within the organisation as it is voted for by the patients themselves and is seen by staff as one of the most prestigious categories of Celebrating Success.
The winner of the Weightmans' Patients' Award is... Aoife Healy!
Runners-up in the Weightmans' Patients' Award were Janice Booth (Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner), Critical Care and ITU, and Charlene Lee-Thornton (Mental Health nurse).
We would like to thank all the patients and relatives who took One Moment to make a nomination. It really does make a difference to our staff.
