A range of showbiz stars are supporting a special Christmas campaign

The Trust has welcomed support from a host of famous faces as part of a special Christmas campaign.

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s virtual celebrity Christmas wishes so far have included King of the Castle, Danny Miller, Olympian Tom Daley and Benidorm and Coronation Street star, Tony Maudsley.

The idea came from Trust Chief Executive, Trish Armstrong-Child. She said: “We are so grateful to have some wonderful people on board.

“We are posting one celebrity message a day in conjunction with a season’s greetings message from our hard-working teams across the Trust. We have seen some brilliant messages so far and there are some more exciting celebrities to come but I don’t want to give too much away – you’ll have to tune in each day for the stars to be revealed.

“It’s so important, especially at this time of year, to show our colleagues how much we appreciate what they do and thank them, for the incredible circumstances they have found themselves in over the past 18 months.

“Christmas is such a special time and such a great opportunity to spoil the people we care about. We are so lucky that the celebrities that have got on board feel the same and so I send my huge thanks to each and every one of them.”
