Fantastic news! Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has hit its national flu target.
Seventy-five percent of front line staff needed to be vaccinated in accordance with Public Health England guidelines in order to protect staff, patients and their families.
Staff nurse Javier Galindo was the 3598th person to be inoculated, thus hitting the 75%.
A great effort was made by all those who had the jab and also those who got behind highlighting the importance of the cause.
