Blenheim House is a Child Development and Family Support Centre for children

Blenheim House is a Child Development and Family Support Centre for children across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde who have physical or learning needs. The Centre forms part of the Trust's Department of Child Health. It aims to provide assessment, ongoing intervention and family support for pre-school children in a friendly and informal environment.

Services

A number of multidisciplinary services are provided at the Centre, of which some or all may be appropriate for your child. Each child that is referred to Blenheim House is assessed individually and the services provided are in accordance with their requirements.

The Team is made up of a Consultant Community Paediatrician, Associate Specialists, Specialist Health Visitors, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nursery Officers and Administration staff.

Clinics are also held regularly at the Centre by other Consultant Staff. There are 7 clinics a month by Consultant Paediatricians, and a Genetics Clinic and a Paediatric Neurology clinic every 3 months. Orthoptic clinics are held periodically as required.
